To persons using index semina and those with an opinion:

In the Index Seminum produced by Beal Botanical Garden, location
information is listed for seed of native plants collected from the wild.
In a separate section we also offer seed from plants (native and exotic)
cultivated in the Garden. For seed from Garden plants grown from seed that
has documented wild origin we also list the original location information.
In our Index in the cultivated section we state "Seed of cultivated plants
with known wild origin is followed by the available location information"

Question: Is this original information useful to the customer?

Some feel we go beyond what is practical by including original collection
information for those accessions that have it.

Any response would be appreciated.

Elaine
