ROYAL BOTANIC GARDENS, MELBOURNE
PACIFIC DUNLOP RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP
BRYOPHYTE SYSTEMATICS
UP TO 3-YEAR TENURE

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne (Australia)
invites applications for this research fellowship
sponsored by Pacific Dunlop Limited. Funds are
available to cover relocation expenses, a small
operating budget and a salary of AUD37,312-42,524

The Fellowship is available in the field of Bryophyte
Systematics, preferably liverworts. You must have a PhD
and experience in modern bryophyte systematics. The
Fellowship is available to start between June and
December 1999.

Other research programs at the Royal Botanic Gardens
include: systematics of vascular plants (Legumes,
Rhamnaceae and Rutaceae); systematics and ecology of
macrofungi and freshwater algae; selection and
propagation of ornamental plants; floristics of
cultivated plants; and conservation genetics.
