   C'est un element designe pour fixer l'application d'un nom lorsque
l'interpretation de son type est consideree comme incertaine.

   En botanique, le type d'un nom peut etre une illustration et cette
illustration peut etre ambigue (pour tous ou pour certains!).

interpret-ative type when the holotype, lectotype or previously designate=

neotype, or all original material associated with a validly published nam=

is demonstrably ambiguous and cannot be critically identified for purpose=

of the precise application of the name of a taxon. When an epitype is
designated, the holotype, lectotype or neotype that the epitype supports
must be explicitly cited.
