Dear fellow taxonomists,
If you don't mind, I would be very pleased by reading examples from
taxonomic groups which occur in tropical South America only, but which
are nested in higher rank groups which have broader tropical or
pantropical distributions.
Insects are preferred. But it is not necessary condition.
