Review of taxonomic/inventory software products?

I recall reading over 6 months ago of a newsletter slated
to have a review of the software products now available
for biological inventories (and related activities).

Since then, no word.

Is any one aware of such a review coming out? Where? This
area is getting quite complex and difficult to assess.
