Friends and especially my American colleagues:

    Concerning my previous posting on returning to the USA from
Canada with plant presses, I am happy to report that I had a
good trip last week: southern Ontario is a beautiful place, and
contains an extraordinary flora. I really recommend it, if you ever
get the chance. But next time I'm going to fly.

    On the way back through Niagara, the border guard on the
American side was concerned only with our nationalities (both US),
how long we were there, and the value of any purchased goods being
brought back.
