POSTDOCTORAL POSITION.   A two year postdoctoral position in Plant
Molecular Systematics/Evolution is available in the section of Evolution
and Ecology, U. C. Davis.  We seek an individual interested in
participating in a research project integrating molecular and fossil
evidence on the age of angiosperms and other seed plants.  Applicants
should be familiar with modern sequence-based molecular systematic
techniques and have broad interests in seed plant phylogenetics, molecular
evolution, and/or paleobotany.
        The position is available starting September 1, 1998.  Please send
