Dear Taxacomers,

I am presentely working on phylogeny and taxonomy of Camptosema
(Leguminosae: Phaseoleae: Diocleinae) and allies. I am attempting to
combine morphological and molecular data to test hypotheses of phylogenetic
relationships. I had made trips aiming to collect and to photograph some of
the species but it was unsuccessfully for Camptosema rubicundum, a plant
found in northern Argentina, Ururuguai and southern Rio Grande do Sul
(Brazil).

I have some literature indications that this plant has been cultivated in
California and some Europeans gardens, specially in France, England and
Belgium. Then, I am claim for material dried in silica for DNA analyses. A
voucher specimen will be wellcome as well as any picure of a Camptosema.

I have more than 1,000 diapositives of brazilian plants, specially Legumes
from Eastern Brazil. I can offer copy of some of these or herbarium
specimens in exchange.

        Sincerely,

        LUCIANO
