Two systems under development by the Texas A&M Bioinformatics Working
Group are moving to new addresses.  The Flowering Plant Gateway is
now at:

and the 1st page of the Vascular Plant Image Gallery has moved to:

The 'gateway' provides structured 'browse' access to flowering plant
families as classified by the systems of Cronquist, Takhtajan, and
Thorne.  Selection of a family name queries an indexed file that
carries web addresses to sites with information relating to that
family.  The system currently deals with 844 families (all vascular
families are included in the 'select family' section) and 7106 links
to relevant websites.

The 'gallery' provides access to digital vascular plant images
(currently 5668) that can be browsed by family (264), via links
from three pages, or string query (genus name, location, structure,
etc.) to a full text index.  Images are derived from the Texas A&M
teaching collection, contributing photographers, and other websites
that carry images organized by family.

Both sites are machine-generated and all future updates will be
posted to the new addresses only.
