                        ANNOUNCEMENT

This is to inform everyone that the Directory of International
Registration Authorities (IRAs) may be found on:

An explanation of the work of IRAs may be found on:

All names of cultivars and cultivar-groups should be formed
in accordance with the International Code of Nomenclature
for Cultivated Plants (ICNCP), the last edition of which
was published in 1995.  The system of registration of names
goes back a long way and is widely used throughout the world.

All raisers of new plants and those who name them should consult
these pages.
