WFCC workshop at ISME8

The WFCC (World Federation for Culture Collection) is planning a
workshop on "The Economic Value of Microbial Genetic Resources" that
will be held at the Eighth International Symposium on Microbial Ecology
(http://www.glinx.com/isme8/) in Halifax, Canada, on August 12th 1998.
The aim of the workshop is to bring environmental economists and
microbiologists/culture collection experts together to discuss the
economic issues involved and possible developments.
