best PVA for trees?

Dear Taxacomers,

For performing a PVA, can anyone suggest which is the "best" PVA to study
the status of an endemic tree spp. -- one that incorporates as many nuances
as possible (ie., genetics, env. stochasticity, demography, etc. for a pop.
or metapopulation) in a semi-coherent manner.

I hear the RAMAS and VORTEX latter models are good but I am unsure of their
veracity in terms of trees.
