I am very sad to report that Dr. Craig C. Black passed away on Saturday,
December 5, in
Albuquerque, New Mexico after a short battle with cancer. Black, a
mammalian paleontologist, was a professor at the University of Kansas and
Texas Tech University and director of the Texas Tech University Museum, =
the
Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Pittsburgh, and the LA County Museum =
of
Natural History. =20

Black is survived by his wife Liz, daughter Lorna and her husband Joe, son
Christopher, and grandchildren Joe and Elizabeth.

at a later date.
