Dear all,
Some days ago I asked for the correct scientific name to use for the imported cabbageworm in North America, which is Pieris rapae.
However, although Pieris rapae (L.) is the current accepted name (as opposed to Artogeia rapae (L.), I specifically want to know more about the use of both names in the past years. In other words, when Artogeia appeared in the literature, and when did we return back to Pieris???
Please let me know if you know more about this.
