Dear All,

The Natural History Symposium: Banks of Biodiversity has been=20
postponed until the 15-20 August 1999.  The original dates of the=20
symposium (21-26 March 1999) was in conflict, both nationally and=20
internationally,  with several other meetings, workshops and=20
conferences arranged prior to the organizing of this symposium, and=20
scheduled to take place during the first half  of 1999.  Many=20
scientists indicated they were unable to attend this symposium during=20
March, due to other committments, and thus requested that the=20
Symposium be postponed until later in the year.

I hope the new dates are suitable and that you will=20
still be able to attend.  If you would still like to receive the=20
second circular (to be sent out on the 1 November 1998) or,=20
alternatively prefer to have your name removed from the mailing list=20
because you will not be able to attend the symposium in August,=20
please e-mail me (bayliss at tm.up.ac.za).
