collections: electronic access policies

to quote others "good question" I (we) too are dealing with much the same
thing as we continue to develop an individual specimen data capture data
base for the 50-100th insect specimens identified to generic and/or
specific level in our core collection. it seems to be a goal to have this
information available as a portion of our web site. ideas are also in the
works to include the same for the mammal, bird, fish, and herptile
collections. sooooooooooo i would ask that perhaps these ideas be shared
with us all.
