Another Curatorial Assistant Position at the NYBG

     The New York Botanical Garden has an opening for a CURATORIAL
     ASSISTANT in the Phanerogamic Herbarium of the New York Botanical
     Garden.

     REQUIREMENTS:  Familiarity with systematic botany and herbarium
     methods.

     Computer experience, data entry preferred.

     Speaking knowledge of Portugese or Spanish a plus.

     B.A. or equivalent in botany or a related field; some postgraduate
     education preferred.

     DUTIES:  Collections processing (label preparation, processing of
     ummounted sheets and annotation and filing of mounted specimens,
     computer data entry, and relataed project tasks (e.g., specimen
     identification, project bookkkeeping, and organization of files)
