A colleague of mine is writing a book and has asked me to help him to
answer certain questions about biological authors and collectors. Now I
wonder if anybody of you could help me with the following questions:

When did he die?
Does anybody know of a photo (or other portrait illustration)?

coast of Africa. He published in 1704.
He was born in 1672.
When did he die?
Dora Ilse, worked with sensory physiology, esp. on butterflies.
She was born in 1898.
