ENTOMOLOGY COLLECTIONS MANAGER

        The University of Nebraska State Museum seeks a permanent,
full-time collections manager for the Division of Entomology.  The Division
of Entomology at the University of Nebraska State Museum has
state-of-the-art collections facilities that house approximately 2 million
specimens.  The research collections in entomology rank in the top 20
collections in the United States.  The division has ongoing research
programs dealing with systematics, biodiversity, and conservation.
        The collections manager will be responsible for managing the
research collections, preparing specimens, processing loans, electronic
databasing, maintenance of lab facilities and equipment, and will be
provided some research time in an area of specialty.  Minimum
qualifications are M.S. in entomology with systematics experience (or
equivalent) and experience with collections management.  Starting salary
$26,480 plus excellent benefits.
