Ceratiomyxa

Dear Taxacomers,

I have problems with an author name. Who did describe genus Ceratiomyxa
(Myxomycetes/Protosteliomycetes)? Most of monographs are giving
Schroeter
or Schroet. but no first names. (H.E. Shroeter?) Ainsworth and Bisby`s
"Dictionary of Fungi" gives J. Schro"t. How did this scientist write his
name himself?

Could anyone help?
