I am trying to determine if there have been any changes or refinements in
the age of the Asteraceae. The best source I have is Muller (1981) and he
states that pollen of Asteraceae is known from early Oligocene and reports
of paleocene occurrences are in error. Have there been any updates since
his 1981 paper?
Also, what is the best guess as to geographical area of origin?
Thanks,
