Curatorial Assistant Position Available at NYBG

     The New York Botanical Garden has an opening for a CURATORIAL
     ASSISTANT in the Cryptogamic Herbarium of the New York Botanical
     Garden.

     This is a one-year position, beginning as soon as possible.

     Duties:  Perform curatorial tasks associated with accession, preparation
     and shipment of specimens of algae, bryophytes, fungi and lichens;
     database specimens of bryophytes as part of the North American Bryophyte
     Catalogue project (http://www.nybg.org/bsci/hcol/bryo/bry3.html).

     Qualifications:  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology; coursework
     in taxonomy and/or herbarium experience preferred.
