designating a photo as holotype?

Actually, in Zoology, if the original holotype (minus head) is completely
destroyed or lost, a revisor would designate a "Neotype," not a lectotype.
Lectotypes are those designated by a revisor from an original "Syntype" or
"Co-type" series where the original author did not choose one as holotype.
