We've been trying to find a source of spinning stage slide ringers for
years without success. We finally ended up buying Fisher's Inoculating
Turntables. Probably not as good as the real thing, but passable. I had to
modify it a little to suit my purposes. I positioned and and fastened 2
clips on the top surface. I used a pair of dividers (or compass) to create
concentric circles on the rubber surface. I checked with Fisher to see if
these were still
available and they said that they were. Catalog number for the 4.5"
diameter is 08-758 and 6" is 08-758-10. They cost $118.09 and $127.09
respectively. The sample pictured in the catalog doesn't appear to have
legs, but the one I got in 1989 does, which elevates the turntable up
about 2.5". To place order call 1-800-926-1166.
Hope this helps.
