As a zoologist I cannot comment on the intention for the botanical code,
but a different ending may be preferable since -ina is already commonly used
for subtribes in zoology and, as far as I remember, is proposed as the
mandated ending for them in the new edition of the zoological code. The
use of the same standard ending for different purposes can only cause some
confusion.
