together with other participating malacological organizations

at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC, 25-30 July 1998

Deadlines:
Registration -- 1 March 1998
Abstracts -- 1 April 1998

Scientific sessions include three symposia ("Refining Molluscan Characters,"
"Interactions Between Mollusks and Humans," "Bridging Temporal Scales in
Malacology: Uniting the Living and Dead") as well as contributed papers and
posters.
