Off the top my head...... I believe Farris makes a comparison between some
Pentium box and a Power PC chip on a power Mac - can't remember the details
except the differences were not that great.

But wait until the 533 mhz Power Macs ship this late spring or summer!

By the way, does anybody know if PAUP-star is able to take advantage of
multi-processing?
