Database software

I just came to endorse the words of Dr. Janzen and others regarding File
Maker Pro 3.0 by Claris as an outstanding database software.

I have been using a file created with FMP 3.0 called "The Orthoptera
Database" which was created by Piotr Naskrecki at the University of
Connecticut <pin93001 at uconnvm.edu>. If you write to him perhaps you can
receive a copy but, of course, you must have FMP installed. Obviously
that file is customized for Orthoptera (with sound and image fields,
names of taxa, etc) but it can give you an idea of the possibilities of
the software. You will be surprised.

I suppose with FMP 3.0 you won't need anything else. Ever. Or perhaps
just a little pet to amuse you during coffee break.
