Reponse a Laurie Adams

********************************
The answer is unambiguous: NO.
The creation of a name of an infrageneric taxon at a definite rank has th=
e
unique consequence to create automatically the correspndent autonym at th=
at
rank, but not the autonyms at intermediate (or lower) ranks.
The link between the genus and your serie and between the genus and th=
e
correspondent autonym is direct if no other intermediate taxon exists.

Idem for infraspecific ranks.

The ICBN / Art.2 indicates a potentiality, not an obligation.
Art.22.3 and 26.3 are concerned only.
