Elmer's Glue versus Ross glue

We have been using Elmer's glue for attaching annotation labels, but most
of the office supply people now only carry Ross' white glue.  As Ross' glue
costs half as much, it has great attraction.  Does anyone know of its
relative merits or demerits from a herbarium point of view?  Replying to me
directly would be fine.  I can summarize the results if there is interest.
