Taxonomy Position

Brooklyn Botanic Garden is seeking a taxonomist, preferably with experience and
strong interests in cultivated plants.  The position calls for the person to
play an active role
in all aspects of the Garden's horticultural taxonomy and/or to assume
leadership of and
develop this department.  Preference given to persons with an active
research program.
Ph.D. required with knowledge of nomenclature and competent database skills.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Generous benefits.
