Volume 3 Nomina Insecta Nearctica

Just a short note to let everyone know that volume 3 of "Nomina Insecta
Nearctica:  A Checklist of the Insects of North America" has been published
as is available.  This volume contains the Diptera, Lepidoptera, and
Siphonaptera.  The Siphonaptera were compiled by Robert Lewis of Iowa State
University.  The volume is lay-flat perfect bound with 1143 pages.  This is
by far the largest volume in the series.  The price of volume 3 is $89.95 (US).

The last volume (volume 4) (Non-holometabolous orders) is well underway and
hopefuly will be ready in late April or early May.  Several authors are
contributing their groups to this volume.  The programing for the database
application of the CD-ROM is progressing although a date for the CD-ROM
cannot be given just yet.
