Although I may appreciate the concern of the person who wrote about the
"Persian" Gulf, I think this is taking nomenclature problems a little too
far. Let's try to restrict our mailings to the many interesting ideas
evoked by the study of BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMATICS. I have asked my class to
subscribe to this discussion group, and it is a waste of their time and
mine to receive such messages--despite the proximity of the delete
