The Positivism vs Realism thread has been overwhelming in content and
velocity recently. We have noticed a large number of SIGNOFFs from the
Taxacom list over the past two weeks.  Perhaps it is time to ask whether
this dialogue should continue or be taken off of Taxacom and done privately
among the major discussants.

What are people's preferences?  Should we ask for a voluntary reduction in
volume or encourage the debate to continue on the list?
