Short courses in plant taxonomy

Are there any short courses in plant taxonomy that would be suitable as
training for people in ancillary disciplines, such as ethnobotany. Several
ethnobotanists have asked me about this - they want something more intensive
than sitting in on an undergraduate introductory course (in any case, not so
easy to find these days). I can think of several good 1-year Master's
degrees, e.g. at Reading and Edinburgh in the UK, and there are plenty of
1-week courses for the general public at field study centres. Is there
anything in-between?

Details of suitable courses would be very welcome - whether in North America
or the UK.
