Hi,

thanks to those who responded to my last puzzle.  Here is another.

The sentence below is from the protologue of Ficus adenosperma, a fig,
publised by Miquel, 1867, in Annales Musei Botanici Lugduno-Batavi, 3:233.

What does the word 'quibusdam', in the sentence below, translate to in
english.  Also how should I translate the 'nucleo'?  What does nucleo
refer to in this sentence?

the sentence that it occurs in, in the original text is as follows:

'Receptacula, pedunculis' 3-2 lin. longis tenuibus puberis suffulta, haud
raro supra 'bracteas' 3 basales patulas in stipitem brevem constricta,
nucleo cerasorum paullo maiora, valde depressa, subglabra, praeter
'bracteas' circa orificium obvias bracteis quibusdam praesertim in parte
superiore sparsis instructa.
