In David Attenborough's TV-production "the private life of plants"
is shown a fruit with six wings that fly like a helicopter (or
rather, like an autogyro). The wings are arranged very much like the
propellers of a ship, although the individual blades are not
twisted. Sir David refers to it as the "Tristar tree" . It is not
mentioned int the book that accompanies the series, so it can't just
be looked up.
Does anybody know the Tristar tree?
Thank you in advance, FinnR
