Dear Neo-Latini:

I need advise to trace the proper etymology of the word 'trimulis'. It is
given in a diagnosis from 1780, as follows: '...pinnis geniculatis
trimulis'.

I have two suggestions: either an orthographic variant of 'tremulis' or
perhaps a new compound word of 'tri-[ra]-mulis' (3-branched).

Have you seen the word before ? in what context ?
