Frank Telewski has recently received two requests from researchers at our
institution for plant material to conduct a genetic analysis.

Foliar tissues or seeds for Elaeis guineensis is needed.
Are there any taxacomers willing to send oil palm material?

Also, a student working in plant taxonomy is studying relationships in the
Staphyleaceae and would like foliar material from the following genera:

Tapiscia
Euscaphis japonica

She would prefer leaf samples from vouchered (known wild origin)
plants, but can use the tissues from unknown source material as well.

Please let Frank (telewski at cpp.msu.edu) or myself know if you have any of
these species available and if you are willing to supply material for research.

Thank you.

Elaine & Frank
