Independent of somebody's experience, inscription "Leg.[it]", followed
or preceeded by a name, means "[he have] collected": lego, legi,
lectum, legera. Of course, if used on an animal specimen data label.
Otherwise, different meanings are also available dependent on context
and on a document specificity.
