Cet ouvrage a le merite d'exister et fournit des indications diverses et
tres utile. Les abreviations <<normalisees>> qu'il contient sont cependant
parfois critiquables et doivent alors etre critiquees. J'ai constate
plusieurs fois que les abreviations proposees ne sont pas conformes a
l'usage courant, sans raison apparente.

Cette critique semble s'etendre aux noms complets: la forme <<Carl von
Linnaeus>> ne semble pas attestee, contrairement a <<Carl Linnaeus>> et
<<Carl von Linne>>. Pour l'histoire du nom de Linne, cf. W. T. Stern,
Botanical Latin, 4th Ed., 1992. p. 283-284. Cf. aussi T. O. B. N. Krok,
Svensk botanisk literatur. Lund. Ed. 1925.
