more on (moron?) grammar

I think the point is, effective communication of science requires concise
and precise usage regardless of the language.  I just reviewed a ms. (in
English) containing a variety of ambiguous statements because of poor
usage (lack of agreement; no clear antecedents for pronouns; improper or
missing punctuation).  I don't think I am being pedantic to ask the
authors to write what they want to say in a way that allows the reader to
unambiguously understand the points they are making.

I could not not point out the problems I encountered in reading the ms.
