You're losing track of the *function* of a rating system. To fulfill its
function, the stages must be things commonly encountered. Then, the stimuli
less often encountered [what phylum are clubionids in?] are placed within the
framework--is it worse than a bumblebee? as bad as a pepsid? etc.
