Commercial ads

The difference has to do with the charters of the respective organizations.  If
there is no clause in the churches' charters against commercial advertising,
then there is no reason not to.  When an internet discussion group is set up
and its charter specifies that is it for discussion and explicitly states that
commercial ads are not allowed, then commercial ads are not allowed.  If the
list's owner states that commercials are not appropriate, then commercials
should be kept out.  It has nothing to do with holiness or righteousness, just
common morals.
