FIRST INSTALLMENT OF NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN CATALOG OF MACROFUNGI

The New York Botanical Garden is in the process of
cataloging its specimens of macrofungi. We
intend to make these records available family by
family, as cataloging is completed. Currently, the
following families are available:
Amanitaceae (3198 records)
Boletaceae (6707 records)
Basic information from all specimens in this family
has been captured in the database, but some of the
records are more complete than others. The formats
for non-type and type records are:
*Currently accepted name
*Name of determiner, date of determination, and institutional affiliation
*Notes about the names applied to this specimen
*Country, state or province, specific locality
*Collector name, number, date
*Notes about the locality or collector data
*Habitat, vegetation, substrate, frequency, reproductive state,
