Actually, there are zero, one or more colloquial names associated
with zero, one or more scientific names; some of those name relations
have been "standardized"; some name relations are commonly known but
haven't been "standardized", and no doubt many common names haven't been
associated with scientific nomenclature (yet; they aren't "known" in the
literature) but will be found to represent single taxa relatively
unambiguously anyway at some day in the future when the ATBI and the
anthropologists have completed their respective jobs.
