Revalidated Combination

        Regarding the resuscitation of previously proposed names or
combinations, I would not use "Comb. nov." (as the combination has been
made previously) and I would not use "Stat. nov." (because the status had
also been proposed earlier).  I still think that Richard Jensen's phrase
"Nomen resurrectum" is most apt.  However, if one were to use an
abbreviation for "Combinatio revalidata", then I would suggest "Comb.
revalid.", since "rev." alone would be too easily confused with some form
of "Revision" or "Revised" (though probably not "Revamped").
        [I guess this only counts as my One cent worth.]
