Type of Homo sapiens

Maybe taxacom'ers in Uppsala can answer this question:
Is the type material of Homo sapiens available for loan to
reckognized research institutions? What if somebody wants to describe
a new species in the genus and wishes to compare with the type of H.
sapiens? Doesn't the zoological code require that type material is
properly curated and available for study?
