There are no formal objections to this, although the names would not be
regarded as published under the provisions of the code.

However, unless you publish the names in a formal paper quite quickly,
you risk that someone else may see them in your thesis and then
inadvertently or malevolently use them in a publication, thus robbing you
of the authorship of the names and confusing the taxonomic situation.

If you want to play it safe, you might do better to refer to them as
_genusname_ n.sp. 1, _genusname_ n.sp. 2, etc. in your dissertation, and
then simply edit the text to insert the real name of the species when you
publish your work, and cross-reference the designations in your thesis and
your publication as appropriate.
