Jacqueline:

I have the Seattle details at home. Meanwhile, however, I can let you know
that the next "International Symposium on the Taxonomy of Cultivated
Plants", the "3rd", will take place at the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh,
from 20-26 July 1998.

Following the Seattle meeting a group of North American taxonomists
interested in cultivated plants got together to form an informal group,
called, as I remember, CULTAX, on the analogy of the UK-based HORTAX group.
I believe that one newsletter has been produced; if others do not provide
details immediately, I again have detailed information at home.

The proceedings of the Seattle meeting were to appear in Acta
Horticulturae, but so far as I know have yet to do so.
